Simple, we're f****** jealous all the time cause we're insecure with ourselves. there's no denying that. We're a bunch of idiots who think the world should revolve around us. And I'm going to be honest with you, i really hate that feeling. Unfortunetly for us guys we can't do nothing about it, because we're never happy with what we have...or in my case with what I had. I screwed up all because I was jealous and i was insecure. Could I take it back if I had the chance...in a hearbeat. Does this change who I am? no doubt. My advice to you is this...he doesn't deserve you. and you deservse someone who will treat you the way you were meant to be treated...somone equal. No games, no mindtricks. You're not just a possesion, you're a human being with feelings. I hope this helps you out.

No this is not right and there was a question or two about this before. Anyway, I think this description is not limited just to men. Sounds like an insecurity issue. He needs all this to stroke his ego and if you do it his ego is hurt. However there may be more to it. I flirt because that is who I am and my husband gets REALLY uncomfortable when I flirt with him so I flirt with our friends and I do it completely in the open and tell him about it if he was not there - not to get him jealous, but because I don't hide anything. If he were to flirt I would go berzerk because he will not flirt with me! He does check out other women and so I don't feel ignored, I started pointing out women he didn't notice or mention something positive about a woman he did notice.

Men have this double standard see. we think we are built for many women but we always want to have our save girl tucked away. Hard to explain way, but guys looking is natural. We cant help wanting to see a J-Lo look alike in a thong.
The point is, as men, we want to protect our woman. Like a bear protects its territory. We dont like to share a woman we care about. Thats why some guys flipout when they find their wife cheating. And if he gets jealous it means that he genuinely cares about you. just set limits.
He still sounds too jealous.

It's the animalistic tendancy to propagate our genes. We only want our seed to exist, so we invariably hate other men, and get jealous.
But I have a question for you:
Why do women lie so much?

It's simple insecurity on his part. Jealousy is insecurity's cousin. When he messes with other women, it helps his fragile, insecure ego feel better about himself. When you do it, he simply fears losing you 'cuz he feels he isn't good enough for you.
