taking them out is alot easier than putting them in because they dont have to come out flat

first of all, dont bother holding ur eye open unless there is no other way to keep it open

take 2 clean dry fingers without nails and put them at either corner of your eye
actually u want to wash them with soap, dry them, then rinse without soap and dry again so ur skin is moist so u dont scratch your eye

ok so ur fingers are in either corner of ur eye and slide them together in a pinching motion
use the pads of your fingers not your tips cuz that tends to hurt like a bioch

take ur fingers away and u should have it out
be sure to find a right mix of pressure on your eye, it should be uncomfortable but not painful and dont go by sight, go by feel since you cant really see.

i had too much trouble putting them in so i quit cuz im lazy

hope i can help

1 - Make sure you have your contact solution.

2 - Wash hands thoroughly before removing your contacts.

3 - Drop some solution on the tip of your finger (probably your Index finger...however for this procedure, using the Middle finger is recommended.)

4 - Using your finger, gently...repeat gently... touch the contact lens in the centre of your eye, and gently pull/push down toward the lower lid.

5 - Done properly and with more practice, this process should be less then 10 seconds from start to finish.

Good luck!

You've gotten some great tips and hopefully have almost mastered some technique by now. As you can tell, lots of people find one way they like to do it. The way I do it is I look straight ahead and with the side of my thumb push down my lower lid and I place the side of my middle finger on the bottom edge of the lens and pull it down. After I pull it down I use the sides of both my middle finger and thumb to pinch the lens vertically (instead of horizontally like most do it). Good luck finding the way that works for you!

Put you middle finger under your eye and pull it down. Take your pointing finger and start sliding down the contact and keep on doing it untill it comes out.

Get your middle finger and pull the bottom of your eye down. Look up and with your index finger pull the lense down. Use your thumb and index finger to pull them out. Don't look at your finger going into your eye. Make sure you look up. You will eventually get used to it.

Use the pads of your fingers (index, and thumb) and pinch from outsides in and pull out. look straight ahead not up down or side to side, this makes it harder to take out =)

What i do is just slide them over to the corner of my eye & gently try to pinch it out. I know it sounds painful but it's really not. I'm also new to contacts.

put your thumb on one side of the contact and your index finger on the other side the pinch them together and it should come right out

Just take them out. It's not that complicated. Just don't take them out when your eyes are dry...the lenses will rip. I've done that a few times, and usually when I have no more lenses left...lol.
