Yes they would because marijuana frees the mind, where other drugs make you loose your mind. Peace

Yeah, Wallymart tests for THC but they still sell beer and wine which will destroy the body and mind at mach speed when compared to pot. It's just another symptom of good ole' American hypocrisy.

For those that don't understand how a THC urine test works: if you smoke pot once, then apply for a job 2 weeks later, there's a good chance THC will show up in the urine analysis. If you were to have a test for alcohol that worked the same way...........well, think about it. Don't hurt yourself.

No, but they would get a lot worse if they didn't. Substance abuse (whether it's THC, alcohol, prescription drugs, or sniffing glue) is not the type of person an employer can trust. Neither can the customer.

Would you fly on an airliner if you knew the pilot was high? (and I ain't talking about altitude)

Would you want a surgeon taking out you appendix if you knew he was a pot head?

Well, if they didn't test for marijuana then we would have alot of people serving the customers that babble on and on making no sense of anything they say. Alot like the way you did when you asked your question.

It costs money to screen, and they screen for a reason.

People capable of doing pot, - on any kind of regular / current basis don't worry about the law, or they are 3x more likely to 'steal' from their employer??

Walmart might be able to get more applicants, - but no, not better applicants.

I think the idea is to weed out ( no pun intended) the bad employess by doing the urine tests.

I don't know about your life experience with marijuana, but the people I know that smoke it don't aspire in life. And I know that I wouldn't hire them.

If they DIDN'T test for Illegal Drugs then WHO would they hire???

Pot smoking, Acid Dropping, Cocaine shooting, Meth users????
