The answer that said GW's IQ is 91 is correct and i will award you 10 of Bush's IQ opoints after 24 hours. Bill Clinton's IQ is 180. George cannot even put a sentence together. Why did so many Americans vote for a semi-retard. Like minds think alike, haha.

According to the Lovenstein report, his IQ is 91. However, much as I may not like the man and want to rest on that judgment, the Lovenstein report has been proven to be a hoax.

I don't recall any IQ test results being publicly released for the man, and indeed what little I've seen from the White House on the subject suggests he has never been given a test to gauge his IQ.

If you care, like many political analysts and some psychologists do, to play the guessing game and correlate his IQ with how he has performed on other tests, most notably his SAT, then his IQ may be about 115... which places him a bit higher than the dead average range.

That said, though, many psychologists have shown tests such as traditional IQ tests and the SAT are biased to artificially favor Caucasians raised in "traditional" households (since they rely on the presence of knowledge, abilities, and values most often emphasized in Caucasian society), and intentionally or not, especially the highly privileged, as Mr. Bush was.

Given the high likelihood much more effort was probably put into preparing Mr. Bush for tests of this type which he took early in his life, I would also be inclined to think his performance on the SAT is not an accurate reflection of his raw mental powers, so the 115 correlation is probably a bit high since the preparation put into getting him ready to take the SAT would be tantamount to hiring someone to help him cram for the IQ test and intentionally teaching him the questions and how to answer them, rather than foist them on him completely unaware to see how he could cope with the tasks.

To be honest, his lackluster performance on subsequent tasks once he was old enough to simply do things on his own is a good indicator this was probably the case.

So, what would I guess?

I haven't seen any overt indications he suffers from any retardation, but there's also no real indication he's above average, either.

His IQ is most likely between 95 and 105.

P.S.-- I think you're setting your standards for a genius a bit too low. There may not be an "official" standard, but most every psychologist I've met who set a minimum IQ have set it at 140.

Bush became not an excellent speaker yet he became fairly smart. lots greater so than human beings supply him credit for. He by no ability bragged approximately his achievements yet favored to allow human beings to underestimate him. At a minimum i'm hoping you will attempt your man or woman assumptions and questioning approximately our former President. I furnish some inquiries to help that technique. •Upon what do you base your view of President Bush’s mind? How lots is it shaped by ability of the first information approximately him? How lots by ability of verbal miscues highlighted by ability of the clicking? •Do you low fee your estimate of his mind because of the fact he’s from Texas or because of the fact of his accessory? because of the fact he’s an athlete and a ranch proprietor? because of the fact he by no ability advertises that he went to Yale and Harvard? •this could be a demanding one, for liberals in user-friendly terms. Do you assume that he's unintelligent because of the fact he made coverage alternatives with which you disagree? if so, your logic may be backwards. “I disagree with decision X that President Bush made. No smart man or woman might desire to end X, hence President Bush is unintelligent.” might or not this is plausible that an smart, considerate conservative with diverse values and priorities than your man or woman might have reached a diverse end than you? Do you rather think of your coverage perspectives derive in user-friendly terms out of your mind? and ultimately, in case you base your view of President Bush’s mind on a public photograph and comedian strip shaped by ability of previous due night comedians, op-ed writers, television pundits, and Twitter, is that a smart factor for you to do?

Based on his vocabulary, his refusal to pronounce the word nuclear correctly and prior knowledge of his time at Yale I would say average, about 95-100.

I'd say high average range.

And higher than John Kerry, who had lower grades in Yale than the President.
