I believe it to be real. Though you do have to separate reality from fantasy. Everything seems to have been exaggerated over the years. Actually, a member of my family said they saw something that had the same description as one of the many chupacabra's. Just a small animal, that looked close to a dog. With a long tail. Close to kangaroo like oddly. I've seen pictures on google. Who knows if they are fake or not though.

I think the chupacabra could be real, not as an alien but some kind of animal thats a predator, I live in south texas so people always talk about it. I guess so many people down here believe in it. Hopefully it doesn't kill anymore animals! Maybe if we find one we can send it in a rocket to space, it can go live on mars.

The chupacabras is real: invented for the time of political instability to create a diversion, trust me, it was "born" after one of the worst economical crisis in Mexico in the past 90's, then exported to other countries because it is sooo good that we are still discussing it

Hoax. I can't get a chupacabra burrito at any Mexican restaurant. I also virtually get laughed out of the establishment every time I ask for one.

I would have to say it's a hoax. But then there's has been findings of animals that scientist once thought were extinct. So you never know. Just don't keep any goats near by and you should be good.

The chupacabra is as real as vampires and werewolves - that is to say, it is pure fantasy. The product of the collective fears of rural peasants who were/are desperate for some type of supernatural explanation for sick farm animals, failed crops and other misfortunes.
