ok i got a divorce from my ex husband two years ago. we got joint custody he has primary custody. now than i have twins that live with me. i go to school full time. currently im not working b/c i only have daycare from 6am to 6pm and would only be able to work daytime shifts certain days of the week. anyways i was ordered to pay 100.00 of child support a month which is not alot for 3 kids but right now i recieve 185.00 from the state for child support for my twins that live with me now and thats it for a month. i have explained my situation to the child support agency here in tn and in ala where he lives now my child support has gone up. they told me they could send it through court again and that it would be pushed up to a higher amount. my problem is im unable to do anything about paying child support until i can graduate and get a real job what can i do to fight this? i have wrote to our congressman he tried but it didnt work. i cant afford a lawyer. they r threating jail time.
