Overpriced, I'd offer more like $1500 if that.

Pass on it.
I have an '85 CRX and a '90 Prelude. The CRX is starting to get hard to find parts for and the prelude isn't far behind. Junk yards have been sitting on these parts for a decade and a half and they have been picked over pretty good or the parts are rusted out.
Hondas with this much mileage on them are good for their original owners since they won't have dropped much money into them the entire time they had them. But, when you are buying one with this high a mileage, you better have a pretty well stocked garage because you are going to start chasing problems all the time.
The question you need to ask is when the timing belt was changed, brakes, tuneup parts etc. With everything in decent shape and these particular parts up to snuff, I would say the deal isn't so bad.
Good luck!

Honda is a great car. I have an Acura and its one of the best used cars I've ever bought. But, $3500 for an 18 yr old car is kind of steep. I think you can find newer model with less miles on it for that kind of money. I have a 1990 Acura Legend, leather interior, sun roof and it only had 101,000 miles, I pad $2200, and it had a blue book of $4500. Check Kelly Blue Book, but I think u can do better.

Yes, of course it is worth it. The mileage is a little high, for a 1988 I would guess it would be more like 180,000. But for that price it is a great buy.

Honda's are great cars but..... $3500 for a 88'....? That's a bit much if you ask me.... especially with over 200k miles on it. I'm sure you could find a better deal than that....

Sounds way overpriced to me...based on what I've seen in the classifieds lately, it should hardly be worth $2000

I plugged that info into Kelley Blue Book. They estimate the value in excellent condition as 1935.00
