They do in mixed curling but they dont play against each other because men sweep a lot harder which means more control on the rock and also they throw a lot harder for the takeouts.

Why don't they in Golf ('cept for Michelle Wie)? There are specific rules from the USGA on playing on different tee boxes.
What about bowling... there is the first woman bowler that made it through qualifying on the men's tour.... it's throwing a ball at pins (and both use 14 - 16 lb balls).
I do believe in archery they compete as the same... I am not sure on that.
There was a woman who wanted to be a World Cup (football/soccer) and didn't pass the physical exam.
There is a great article (going back to golf) about Michelle Wie and her playing the men's tour, and if she can do that then why can't men play the women's tour (July 2006 issue I believe). The answer is bogus.
I'm with you....... equality for all.

They would compete, but the men wouldn't have a chance. Women are much more experienced at curling.

Mixed curling is not an Olympic sport so it doesn't have a big profile, but it is popular in Canada.
