I just want to know the different reasons why people laugh.

Laughter is what you do when you feel happy or when you want to throw out the negative thoughts. Laughter can be of different types. For eg. I smile when I see a beautiful bird or a butterfly. And I laugh out aloud when I see a person trip over something or mostly seeing cartoons. The more happier I become, the bigger my laugh gets.

Laughter is something of a mystery. It is good for us both mentally and physically. What is funny and what is not has never been completely figured out although comedians seem to have an inate sense of what is and what is not.
Laughter that is not funny may take place as an expression of nervousness.
What is funny to some folks can be very hurtful and offensive to others. Many comedians are funny because they take their rough times and experiences in their lives and make them seem funny ---such as Red Skelton's jokes or Lucille Ball or the Lady in Keeping Up Appearances or Are You Being Served.
So what makes me laugh---I never really know.

This has been learned overIt the years as a way to respond to a funny thing. I am sure it has been used during our ancestors during the sign age. Where no language was used except signs and showing your teeth or lauging was considered funny. Something that has been passed on by our ancestors, its a learned trade that has been passed on from one generation to the other. It looks pleasant and sounds pleasant, a sign of excitement.

Funny is when someone is insulted and actually takes it seriously and is offended. Take, Carlos Mencia for instance. He insults every nationality on the planet, equally, honestly, it's all REAL, but it's hillarious hearing about hard core facts that most people were insulted by.

I laugh at stupidity of my fellow humans, such as someone getting locked out of their own house or car, or if some one gets hurt while trying to show off. I also like mentally involved humor, such as satire, or in rare cases, parody. I don't consider stupid humor funny at all.
