Every present event of our life though it is not good but we feel golden when it turned in to past. why.?

it is observed that our all present events when becomes past then we feel it as golden memories.the bad events are also felt as golden.why.

Hindsight is 20/20 and things were not that bad if I'm still here seriously though these times and trials are what make each of us who we are as individuals and when you look back and see how it all played into the big picture its inspiring even the worst times can be pride invoking or rather especially the worst times
