I heard a rumor that she had a birth defect, but the official "line" is that Scientology says not to take kids out of the home in their first few months.
Of course, it could also be a) there is no baby, or b) the baby is older than they say.

I heard it was sacrificed to L. Ron Hubbard in one of their Scientology ceremonies. What a shame... But we shouldn't judge people based on their religion.
