ok, we grew up together, my dad & his dad are best friends. but my dad hates the fact that him & I have liked eachother for 4 years now. My dad just got remarried, and moved out of state, and Im suppose to move with him. My man is becoming more and more distant by the day! But I know he has major feelings for me! But my dad is doing anything and everything in his will to keep us from gettin any closer, actually to make us enemies! Please Help Me!

Parents do a lot of foolish things trying to protect their kids. I'm not sure why your dad is doing this, it could be to try and protect you from having your heart broken, or it could be that he associates his friends son with the things he knows his friend did growing up and is afraid those things are not right for you. Regardless, in the end this is more about you and your man and not so much about your dad. All relationships go through rough spots. In this case you are moving away. For your man this is a big deal. He is probably growing more distant from you in order to protect his own heart which is breaking because you are leaving him. Lets face it, if you two care about each other then nothing your dad or anyone else does really affects the relationship unless you let it. The moving away though does affect the relationship and that is the issue you two need to talk about together and deal with together. Odds are this is the end of you two dating for now until you are both older and have a chance to reconnect.

Are you old enough to get your own apartement etc? Maybe this is a test for you, to see how strong you are. Why does your dad hate him? Is there something wrong with your boyfriend? Sometimes parents do know best ;) BUT you are the best judge. If love hasn't blinded you, put the facts together. Can you start you own life without your parents etc. Then GO FOR IT! It will make you more mature too ;)
