when an arguement arupts with your husband. Close your eyes and make sure your heart rate isn't out of whack. Calm yourself down and count to 5. Picture yourself on a cloud with your husband there. Picture him yelling but you don't hear him. Picture yourself sitting down on the cloud and watch him to continue to yell. Open your eyes and just remember one thing...you weren't meant to fight...you were meant to love each other. in a calming tone you tell him. "Lets not do this."
and just walk away. If he gets stumped and continues to argue. just remember you had in your last word and thats all that matters. Men are pretty hotheaded and dumb. We'll get over whatever we were arguing about the next day. Hope that helps you out, if not...well you can come back and post another question. Good luck to you.

It nvr easy to avoid arguement esp for short tempered and stuborn people, always out to challenge and provoke each other...So i feel it okie to argue, shout out all ur feelings, But end of it, cool dwn and make up with each other..Learn from mistakes..U cant avoid it by walking away, this will not solve the problem.

Just count upto Ten when you are in rage to cool down.
Or else, drink a glass of plain water and leave the place for some moment.
After some time, both of u would realise that you were unreasonable, if you think logically.

Pen and paper. Instead of yelling, write all the crap down that each of you are mad about. When you are done, read it to yourself. Then exchange papers. For each thing on the list write an answer, hopefully a compromise, then give it back to the other person. Then maybe you can discuss it.

Look into anger management techniques...some reading material on the subject will be helpful. Try to stay away from creating situations that will cause either of you to become agitated. Your goal is not to stay away from arguments altogether but to learn how to disagree civily.

My way of cooling down was to retrain myself. I now ask myself if the issue currently making me angry is going to matter in 10 years or should I let it go. Seems to help
