I'm having my 7th little girl in about 3 months. She wasn't planned but I'm happy.
Do you think 39 is to old to become a father again?

No, that's awesome. I'd love to know all their names. You and your wife are very lucky. 39, why you're just a pup. You should be in Seventh Heaven. Listen carefully to the song about fathers be good to your daughters. Congratulations to you, and your wife, and all your kids. (And good luck using the bathroom) GOD BLESS!

Whether it is "too old" or not is a moot point at this stage. You will love this child just as much as the others. You have experience being a dad, so that is not a problem. I would be alot more concerned about your wife's age. The risk of birth defects starts to go up after a woman is 35. Did your Dr do an amniocentesis? This is a good way to check for many birth defects. It may be a good idea to be prepared if there are any problems detected.
Congratulations, and happy expectations.

My parents have friends who are still having kids- some of these men are in thier 60's! I had my first child at 16... Which many people feel is too young. And as far as "planned"... My first 2 kids were unplanned- but I love them no less.
Who really cares what anyone else thinks? As long as you (the Parents) are happy (knowing you are blessed) and love them with all your heart... The opinion of others shouldn't make any matter at all.

Cool, congrats.
39 is not a bad age, just watch out for it at 47, if you're in the US, that is. If you have one at 47, they turn 18 the same year you turn 65. Retirement and college at the same time.

Nope, my son came when I was 38 so what's a year make? We have so much fun and play, but I certainly can't do the same moves as I did earlier in life. But I 'm a much better builder than I was at 22, so he has the best tree-house.

Nope! My husband is 41 and we have a 1 year old. He is a wonderful dad, and if he had been a dad younger I'm not sure he would have been as great.

39 is not too old at all -- I just hope (and sad that you have to wonder these days) that you're talking about having these 7 kids in a stable, loving family with your wife
Congratulations!
