Yes it's a little scary. Not a total jerk though. Mabey if she makes him unlikable it will be easier to have him die in the last book.
Also in the movies Hermione over acts and it bugs me.

Well, I must agree that Harry Potter became a jerk! I think he became a jerk in the 5th book. He was annoying! I really thought it was irritating! I think Harry was really cute in books 1, 2, 3, and 4. In the books after that, I just think he's getting a bad attitude (and sort of an ego)! Someone ought to tell him off!

nope. He been trying to avoid the spot light ever since he first came to Hogworth and everyone started pointing at him. I find that he is like a pop star in the world of wizards only problem is that he doesn't want any thing to do with this new found popularity and is doing his best to find out why he has to carry this weight around on his shoulder inguard about being the choosen one.
