My 9 -year old grandson is the type of boy you have to yell at in order to get his attention, let alone obey you. He is not mean - just strangely self-absorbed; or should I say, self-centered? I hate to yell becuase it gets me into a bad mood the rest of the day. But with him, I find myself doing a lot of yelling. What can I do to keep my sanity? I can't leave him becuase we all live in one house as an extended family.

hes 9 tho. theyre all like that. and your his grand-mother so hes gonna wanna drive you outta your mind. its the whole purpose kids get up in the morning..besides candy. but i guess maybe you could take so craft classes or just do something to get outta the house (things he cant come along to)
