It's not hot enough to burn. We feel the heat all over, but our nerves filter out steady state conditions. Ever swim in cool water? For a while it's very uncomfortable. We feel a chill. Our body adjusts to the cool water after a few minutes and we don't think about it any more.
I got off the plane in Texas and it was like an oven. After a few days I didn't notice the heat as much.
Our sensor systems tune out background noise so we can focus on changing conditions. Our heat sensory system , nerves, are like that too.

Our internal organs do not get burnt from 98.6 degree heat. That's the temperature they are supposed to work in. I believe the pretense to this question is that if a person is in 98.6 degree weather, they feel hot, and have to cool off. This is because our bodies produce extra heat as bi-products of cellular respiration. As a result, without cooling off, we would become hotter than we should be. Around 70 degrees is the average temperature in which the weather cools us off enough that our bodies do not have to go through the extra trouble.

because we are not cold blooded animals our bodies keep a constant temperture of 98.6 degrees and that give us a big advantage over lizards and stuff, but the only donw side to that is that we need more calories to run that. as for our intername organs they dont have nerve ends in the so they will never feel anything, the only organs that feel anything is your mouth, skin,eyes and some other things that i will not metion, you know want they are

You do feel the heat! It is the reason you can survive when it is cole out. Our bodies enzymes work best at 98.6 degrees. When you get a fever, your body is actually trying to raise the temperature to kill bad things in your body. They figure sacrificing a few of your enzymes is safe to kill off the bacteria in you.

that isnt really our overall body temperature that is just our core body temperature. the outer parts of our body can be 10 degrees hoter or colder and we would still be fine. and that is not enough heat to cause and damage. people live in places where it is always over 100 degrees and the only reason they get sunburn is because of the solar radiation that makes it to earth.

YOU are getting confused in the units part

IT IS 98.7 FARENHEIT ....& NOT 98.6 Celcius/Centigrade.

Water boils at 237.6 deg Farenheits = 100Deg Centigrade.. .

Convert using formula.

F= Deg Farenheit
C= Deg celcius

F= ( C+32 ) * (9 / 5)
