That listening to your parents and grandparents ( even when you think they really messed there own lives up ) is important. I'm not sayin that every parent is right all the time, i'm a parent of 2 and i'm right barely half of the time. But my life would have been a lot simpler had i listened about how tricky love can be when your young and how the things that seem important when you are 16 don't have anything to do with what really counts later on.

I have learned that I don't have to be the best at everything I do.

Success in school, college, and work is nice, but not the most important thing in the world. It is more important to be happy, and I don't need to be "the best" to be happy.

I will be sure to teach this lesson to my children, so that they do not suffer as I did, thinking that getting an A- is a huge failure.

No regrets. Take care of #1..ALWAYS.

Live for yourself and not for others, don't worry about anyone else but what makes you happy.

The less you think about other people, the better off you'll be. Quit worrying about who will think what about you and who is saying what about you. It's all fruitless. Don't think another second about negative thoughts and the negative thoughts others may be thinking of you.

Keep on truckin' and don't stop

You can not control events, therefore never try to control events.
This kind of survey is essential for understanding the general trend in today's world. Good work!! Keep it up!!

That to be happy in life you must be happy with yourself! I went thru too many bad friendship/relationships and kept bringing myself down, i had no self esteem whatsoever, and tried to please everyone around me. now i'm totally different, but still working on some stuff!
