What makes them special? Why do you love that person, and not someone else?

He sees everything about me that is good. Just when I thought no one noticed those things that I am passionate about, or the little ways I think I'm unique, there he is pointing out those very things. He sees everything, and I mean everything, that is good about me.
To use a bit of 80s vernacular, it's like omg, he totally gets me to the max.

Because that person is unique and special in his own way. He finds different ways to show his love for me.He expresses his feelings through his words as well as his actions and loves me unconditionally for me and not for what I have to offer. He's there for me physically and mentally.He's there when I just need a shoulder to lean on or in the middle of a crisis.... I think the main reason I love him so much is because he's putting forth the same effort that I am. It's not just a one-way street relationship, like i've had in the pass...He's actually putting in his share and just showing that he cares about my well being

Because he is unique to me.There isn't anything to make him special he himself is special. The thing that makes someone special to you is his/her way of life, their ways of handling things,their behaviour etc.And you like him/her because your mind would have already registered the characters you wanted to have in your mate. And when you see such a person you automatically fall in love. That is why you love that person and not anyone else.

My big thing was always whether or not that person made me not want to be with someone else. Does that make sense?
There have only been 2 guys I was ever with that made me want to be faithful. One I am married to now, and one who wasn't grown enough...
