Anyone here old enough to remember the Katzenjammer Kids, Tennessee Tuxedo, Huckleberry Hound, Heckle & Jeckle, Green Hornet, etc.?
My personal favorite is Tom & Jerry (or beep beep the Roadrunner).

Voltron(the five lions) Tom and Jerry, The superfriends.
Woody Woodpecker,
Heckle and Jeckle the two crows? Vaguely remember them

Yea, I remember all of those except for the Katzenjammer Kids. But my personal favorite is Bugs Bunny. The Simpson are pretty funny too. Homer especially.

The Simpsons, hands down, because there's so much fresh variety in terms of guest stars, storylines, and fresh, witty, and humorous comedy. Also, they were one of television's first dysfunctional families cartoon-wise. They set the bar for other shows to come, I.E. Family Guy.

Tom and jerry were the greatest! they never had to say a word but i could watch that for hours and lmao.
Other greats are scooby doo and mighty mouse.
OOO and the smurfs!! I loved them!!!
