My wife says I should have added cabage patch kids and that reminded me of garbage pail kids (I still have some!) and of course I forgot Star Wars action figures, but nobody has even mentioned them!
Keep 'em coming! I think all the coolest toys were from the 80's!

Garbage Pail Kids, Cabbage Patch Kids, Sit-N-Spins, those beads that you put in the spokes of your bicycle tires to make the popping sounds (not sure what they're called) Pocket Rockers (the music player...not the vibrator. LOL),

Y'know, i might have sworn that trend Plates have been easily early 90s toys (i think of I undergo in innovations seeing the advertisements around 2d grade, back interior the 90s), yet i might desire to be incorrect. besides, I had 'trend Plates', too, and 'trend Faces'. My popular toys interior the 80s have been Barbies and My Little Ponies, nonetheless. Moondreamers, too...

I liked the building sets. Construx, Capsella.
I had the He-man Slime Pit, that was pretty cool, and messy.
also-There was this asparagus green action figure, that claimed you could rip him apart and he would glue himself back together, didn't work!
Mini arcade pac man! just like the real thing.
Everyone mentions transformers, but don't forget the Go-Bots!

GI joes for sure man. I had tons of them, the base the cars the submarine that you put baking soda in and it actually made bubbles under water. Those were so awesome.

Transformers were my favorite. I liked the Wuzzle stuffed toys, and Popples. I played with my brother's Beasties, Spirograph (sp? the drawing thingy), etch-a-sketch, mop top hair shop by play-dough.
