Did your opinion of Superman drop after seeing Superman Returns? (some spoilers)?

Question

Superman it turns out slept with Lois Lane and fathered a illegitmate kid. Do you feel that this is out of character for an upstanding character Superman has always been portrayed as?

IM not asking if you liked the film but more did Superman's decentness or goodness get diminished by the fact that he knocked lois up? That its ok to sleep with her even if you arent honest with her.

I think Superman deserves a love life. Even if he did sleep with Lois, he is still more upstanding than most of us.

Well if you renamed him Zeus and the kid Hercules then you'd have ancient mythology.

This sort of thing isn't new and ... considering superman represents an infallible Savior and Louis lane is aghast.. a mortal woman I think alot of ladies would be P.O.ed that she married someone already pregnant to possibly not be a single parent out of some sort of 50's dependency on support from a man. Or.. well possibly marring someone out of a rebound as both of these concepts got trashed in the late 80's and through the 90's.

first of all, that's a action picture.. from a comedian, no much less, so a lil little bit of rule-bending right here and there must be predicted. and that i consider you, Lois became particularly shallow.. And as for Superman having a son, possibly while he became made right into a human, his genes that have been exceeded directly to Lois probable did not substitute in fact.. or some thing like that..

I'm actually a Big Spiderman fan. But Superman Returns renewed my interest in him again.
