The greatest thing about marriage is that you have someone on your side, always no matter what. It's a person who you will eventually know inside and out and vice versa. The first time I ever saw my grandpop cry was when my grandmom was in the hospital having surgery. It was the saddest and most beautiful thing I have ever seen. 50 some years of marriage and he still loves her that much.
The hardest part is when life gets in the way and you don't spend enough time together. You can start to lose track of your relationship. You stop talking, which leads to way different views on things, which leads to resentments.
I think that is why a lot of people get divorced. You stop being a couple and start being roomates, whats the point???

The greatest thing about marriage is knowing that there is always someone by your side that you can depend on, and just waking up next to that person is a great feeling. The hardest, is trying your best to keep each other happy.

You have someone you can depend on with your life. That is the greatest joy, to know that there is someone on this earth who is there...just for you. Who wants to share every singe day just with you.
The hardest thing is merging the 2 life's together. Both people were raised differently and think differently. If you find a balance your marriage will last a life time. But hon, its lots easier said than done... believe me!

The greatest thing about my marriage is being married to my husband... the hardest thing about marriage? My husband!.. lol. He's my bestfriend. I can be my self with him like I can with no other. He doesnt judge me or think my antics are idiotic. On the other hand, he's a pack rat. He cant put anything away. Wont do the laundry when I'm gone from home 4 days a week unless I specifically ask him to. And then I come home to piles of clean clothes that need to be put away. He leaves cabinet doors open. He talks to me while he's poo-ing (with the door open). He leaves his shoes in the middle of the walkway & I end up tripping over them in the middle of the night on the way to the bathroom. He doesnt clean up after himself.... I could go on & on about the little things that bug me but what matters most is that he's the one person I can count on when I need a shoulder to cry on, when I need to rage & get things off my chest, when I need to be told I'm beautiful or that I'm the greatest wife & mother. Sometimes he drives me crazy but he's the one person who keeps me sane. I cant imagine living my life with anyone but him.

The greatest thing about marriage for me is having a family and watching them grow.
The hardest thing about marriage is having a family, and sometimes, watching how they are growing.
Having a family also puts distance between you and your spouse, at least for a while.

The greatest thing about marriage is that true love that just keeps growing and the hardest is agreeing on everything. It takes a lot of compromises, but it is so worth it. i love my husband more and more everyday.

Greatest and hardest are the same thing: knowing every little detail about one person and having those details constantly change on you.

The greatest thing is having a partner, a best friend, a lover...all in one. Someone you can grow old with and share your dreams with. The hardest part is compromise...you hate his socks on the floor...he doesn't mind it. Choose your battles, if it bothers you, then you pick them up...and don't hold it against him...you know what I mean?
