~Mine did. They walked right out of the hamper and peeled the paint off the bedroom wall. Mom said I should change them after I wore them inside and out on each foot. She was right. Phew.

The White Sox did win, 11-8...and in so doing gained 1/2 game on the idle Detroit Tigers.

Did you know that The Detroit Tigers have been in 1st place (either tied with or ahead of) since May 16th?

The Tigers currently have a 1 game lead over the defending World Champion White Sox.

This weekend will be interesting.

The White Sox are playing Boston (where the red sox are anxious for payback) and The Tigers are in Seattle.

If The Tigers win 2 of 3, and the red sox take 2 of 3 from Chicago The Tigers lead would increase to 2 games.

I would love to see The Tigers be in 1st place (alone) at The All Star Break.

Traditionaly the team in 1st place at the ASB usually wins the Division....although that is not always the case.

The last time The Tigers were in 1st place at the ASB was 1984---and we all know they won the WORLD Series that year.

And please....The Tigers WILL NOT fall apart in the 2nd half.

Jim Leyland is too smart to let that happen.

Even if we have injuries, we have plently of help in Toledo....so no worries there.

Our pitching staff is very good, and when Mike Maroth gets back I expect him to pick up where he left off.

Justin Verlander is blowing smoke past these guys, and will continue to do so.

I truly hope, at the very least, The Tigers to be the wild card.

We could even win the division...but I am not expecting that to happen.

The Tigers have 13 games remaining against The World Champions....and those 13 games will determine who wins the division and who is the wild card.

But...whatever happens (win or lose) I am simply enjoying this baseball season!

It's been a while (13 years) since The Tigers were even half way decent...and as a Tiger Fan For Life I've endured all of it (including that 119 loss season).

There you have it!

My Two Cents!

Thank you for letting me vent.
