"O beautiful for spacious skies,
For amber waves of grain,
For purple mountain majesties
Above the fruited plain!
America! America!
God shed his grace on thee
And crown thy good with brotherhood
From sea to shining sea! " <1>

United States ... meaning that we have 50 independent states that work together as ONE! I can travel all 50 of these states and use the same money ... that green stuff with our presidents faces on it ... my checks work in all 50 states ... my credit cards work in all 50 states ... English is the offical non-offical language and it can take you everywher in America ... there are roads that can take me from Seattle Washington to Washington DC ... from New York to Los Angeles ... There is harmony between the states, and all of the states get along except when we're cheering for our favorite sports teams ::: Then we get to call each other names and laugh at each other :::

America is a virgin ... we don't have really old stuff that's falling apart and that you can't tweak to get cable and plumbing in ... we have plumbing everywhere baby!!! Toilets ... there is nothing more civilized than having good plumbing ... it's the bomb!!!

My freedom. I can chose how to raise my kids, what religion I want to be, where I work , where I live, who I marry, how I spend my money, what I do with my free time, how I live, I can vote for who I want to lead our country, state, town, police force, etc, I can voice my opinion, I can chose how I dress, when and where I want to go, and just about do what I want with in some boundries and limitation.
Americans are spoiled. So if you are an American be proud, support your country and troops, and enjoy life.
