You also have to remember that a big part of Jeff's reasoning to not wanting to be a part of WWE originally is he had started a band and wanted to persue music as a career. He's living in Cincinnati and his band has played locally here for a couple years, all be it not that well. I wouldn't be surprised to see him resurface "very soon" in the WWE, I can't say a whole lot about it because what I have heard is still in the works, but at a PPV upcoming later this year, Matt had better watch his back and not enjoy his win too much.

As far as what people have mentioned about TNA contracts, while they are contracts, TNA is not a traveling promotion like the WWE, you'll see the TNA roster on TV each week, but the other nights you might see them at you local wrestling show, the Jame's Gang and Joey Stiles was in Cincinnati not long ago working a well below their level and status show. So if WWE were to want to buy out a contract, there wouldn't be a whole lot of legality to it, but you have to ask why would they want too. Half the roster is past their prime and not a lot can be done with them, a lot more others have caused bad blood with Vince and won't be getting a shot anytime soon, and the rest were in WWE and didn't work out there, why fial with someone twice. The only exception I think would be Sting. I think Vince could do a lot with that character, I would love to see a Sting/Shaun Michaels fued, been waiting for that for years upon years.

Jeff's contract with TNA is still in effect, but not updated. It is believed that it expires soon. He has been spotted back stage a few WWE shows recently near his home town and there is talk of reuniting the Hardy Boyz. Yes, Matt has been trying a singles run, but has been meeting with limited success, so I doubt even he would object to a reunion.

And the no-shows were mostly under TNA moreso than WWE, but he was out for some drug rehab.

Not that I feel TNA contracts are even the slightest problem for WWE if they really wanted someone. It's likely there is a way to buy out of them (as with most contracts), and even if there isn't a stated way, TNA would probably give it up for money if a wrestler wanted to go to WWE. 1) The star would not be performing their best if they wanted to be elsewhere anyway, 2) TNA is hurting for money as it hasn't drawn any profit since it's inception.

Doubtful. Jeff Hardy had some drug problems before he left the WWE and was no-showing frequently. He's destroyed the trust between the WWE and himself. He wasn't a top draw any way. WWE wouldn't gain much accept initially, if bringing him back. Matt Hardy is still trying to solidify himself as a sinlges competitor and if his brother Jeff comes back, they'll try and put them back together. On the other hand, they could feud, which would be interesting. But it would get old and no one would care, after a short while.

From what PWInsider says, Jeff can't go back to WWE right now unless WWE is looking to shell out some money. Jeff's talent contract is running out with TNA this summer, but even if not resigned by TNA, he'll be held down by them under the TNA Merchandise Contract he has with them. He's still one of the top selling merchandise people the company has.

I hope he does come back! I'd love to see him and Edge team up and beat the crap out of Matt for being such a whiney a s s cry baby! Besides, WWE needs some more eyecandy! Jeff Hardy is one of the sweetest pieces they ever had! Not to mention the fact that they haven't had a really decent high flyer since he left!

well Jeff hardy was a tag team specialist with his brother Matt, and after losing superstars like RVD, Big Show, and the Olympian Kurt Angle, WWE needs some good wrestlers

The only persin who would know if Jeff was using is him. If the WWE is talking to him about rehiring him he does have to take a drug test before they sign the contract.
