I have a device called potentiostat/galvanostat and I want to do research on evaluation of electrochemical properties of nano particles.

You will need your Potentiostat/Galvanostat to be on the nanoscale, in order to obtain useable results from measurements of Fe nanoparticle made by observing its kinetic properties at an electrode. I recommend you research Scanning Probe tools (i.e. Scanning Tunneling Microscopes (STMs), and Atomic Force Microscopes (AFMs).

It would be hard to measure properties of a sand grain if your using a tool that is 100,000 times larger than the grains. Nanoparticles are, as you know Im sure, vastly smaller than a sand grain. Your device is for measuring bulk electronic properties. At the nanoscsale electronic behavior is different from what we are used to describing.
