When I was working at u haul...assistant manager said of the manager...the bearded goat lady from hell...the jukebox hag.
he said
"you get raise to nine dollars an hour if you sleep with her."
I said...
"I'll take a vow of celibacy and enter monastery first"
I was on a couple of factory trawlers/seafood processor in Alaska.
The first thing a woman "in the know" does when going on one of those boats is to hook up with anybody(male) in authority.....
lead, supervisor, plant manager, first mate, in order to secure
easier job.
Filipinas weren't putting out and they were stuck at candling tables for the duration.
The girl that did one of the supervisors....she was glove girl.
handed out gloves at beginning of shift.
Another woman banging boss was tally girl.....made little checkmarks.
Keep job, get easier job, get better job.
All pretty much the same.
