We might have to learn to share.

Or, rather, we might have to re-learn it.

Criminal activity would increase, because there is no use for cash anymore, so now people can take whatever they want, forcibly or not.

Economics would obviously crash. Everybody would just be fighting over everything. Since you didn't state that bargaining is taking place of money, I'm assuming you mean when money doesn't have any value because inflation raised it so high that it's worth nothing. Or that is deemed worthless.

There will be no more class or ranks. A lot of people would become poor very fast, especially those in a produce industry, people would just take their food and leave.

It would be disasterous.

But it won't happen anytime... soon.

Right now Money has no value except for what someone is willing to give in trade for it. Money only had a real value when it was backed by the gold exchange. So people will still be spending the paper.

I wish I could say everyone would forgive and forget, and there would be world peace, and love would rule over all, but....

Jokester is right, the barter system would pick up. Or we'd just create a new currency system.

In what situation would money have no value?... In an anarchy-type situation, yeah... people would either barter or kill/steal from each other for things they needed.

hmm...

There will be no order because people will do as they please. NO one will work which means no law enforcement, no one to construct houses, etc.....It would be ideal to do away with money but the problem is humanity is lazy and greedy. If money had no value, we would live in a jungle type environment where everyone fends for themselves, only the strongest survive. People will be like wild beast.

There are places that exist where money has no value. Places where hope is all one has to look forward to...like where poverty, war and disease are prevalent. We would be in a sorry state if money lost its value in mainstream America.

we would use the "barter system". we would exchange things of value to get something from others instead of money.

if i wanted Thing A from you, i would buy it from you by giving Thing B in exchange.
