For me, it is a tie between "Heaven Can Wait" and "2 out of 3 Aint Bad."

As far as memories go, I saw Meatloaf in concert last fall. I was, in no way a huge Meatloaf fan, but got the tickets for free from a friend and he blew me away. Seriously, I was in the 4th row in a smaller venue and his stage show was absolutely wonderful. Dude can sing like no other. The female singers are wonderful. I love the piano, and "Heaven can Wait." was so powerful with that piano!

"2 out of 3" is such a clever/true/sad love song. I think anyone who has ever lost a true love can relate.

Thanks for the subject/memories. I am going to pop in the "Storytellers" CD. Oh, I love "More than you Deserve" as well, and "Is Nothing Sacred Anymore" has some of the most touching lyrics ever.

I love all kinds of music, from oldschool country to 50 cent. I see some posters have been slamming Meatloaf, if they truely understood/appreciated music, had an open mind, etc. then they would, atleast, appreciate Meatloaf's songwriting/musical ability that they would not throw out negative comments.

Gotta be Paradise by the Dashboard Lights. When I was in my later teens my mother was "rockin out" (you would have to know her to get how funny that really is) in the living room and said "Paula you HAVE to hear this song" at which point my conservative mother plays this song. I am pretty sure I wanted to crawl under the carpet and die rather than listen to that song with my mom at that moment but I have a fond memory and fell in love with the song.

I still love to "introduce" people to "Paradise By The Dashboard Light". I used to have friend (who happened to be female, but wasn't a girlfriend...long story) who could do the Carla DeVito part and we'd karaoke to that one.

Still love "Two Out Of Three Ain't Bad" also

Paradise by the dash board light. I remember it because when I was young i'd hear adults sing it, and I never understood it. Then when I was 18 i went to a Meatloaf concert, and he was up there practicaly banging the woman he was singing with. It was so fun!
