Yes. It doesn't really affect the way I deal with my peers now, but when I was younger I had a lot of anger issues.

I got tired of being bullied, so I became a bully instead. I think being able to make that change gave me much of the confidence that I have today, and knowing that I can be in charge gave me the strength to do so. I am not a bully anymore, but I can go from 0 to b**** in NO time flat.

This guy smacked the back of my head so I beat him up. Then, trying to save face, he tried to beat me up with his friend - I ended up on top of him, punching him in the face while his friend kicked me in the head with his nikes. The teacher broke it up, and they left me alone. Hurray.
Later I joined the military for the good food... and pretty much treat everyone respectable now, ignoring a lot of petty stuff. Bullies usually end up hanging themselves by picking on the wrong guy, but sometimes - I have to be that guy!

I did get bullied as a teenager based on my race. Now, I feel sorry for anyone who is bullied. I try to make sure to include everyone in my group of friends, no matter their race, nationality, ethnicity, etc.

My elders have often told me that I was quite a bully, as a kid.
...Well, now that I am older, I find that all such habits die hard - while dealing with my (literally !) shuddering peers !
:-))

Yes. Because I have Aspergers Syndrome and am gay. It had bad psychological effects on me - social withdrawal, lack of self-esteem, lack of confidence. But, with God's help, I have been slowly overcoming all these and now have friends and a relationship.

Man, I was bullied so much, I thought that it was the whole purpose of me being here. I was too shy and quiet to fight back, so I had to put up with it. Nowadays, I do'nt take any crap from anyone, and I do'nt care about getting my butt whooped, either.

Not physically, but verbally, yes. All the time.

And no, it doesnt. The only difference is that now I kick the *** of the offender.
