You shold use shades of pink, brown, purple, brownish black, deep plum, gray, and mauves for eye shadow, and using eyeliner in a dark brown will make your eyes pop. Also, if you dot concealer on the innermost corner of your eyes, it will lighten them. Does that help? =]

I have green eyes, and here are the colors that work best for me. Black, if applied on the outside corner of my eyelid, and balanced with a slightly paler color. Also, plums, lavenders and purples look nice. Silver, and white are two of my faves as well. My very favorite is the double-blue, single purple combination. I sweep pale blue across my entire eye area, then use a darker blue in the corners of my eyes and across the creases, and finish up with a pretty plum, which I blend with the blue.
I've gotten only comliments when I've done that. I looks mostly natural, AND it brings out every other hue in my eyes. I love it.

I have green eyes, and I have always found that purples & amethysts set off the green best, really make it leap out. And the good thing about purples is that they come in a huge range of shades, so if you have really pale skin like me, or a more medium shade (like your avatar) you can find a pallette of purples and lavenders that works with your skin tone.
