counterfeiting and the copoy of the windows is not genuine.Does that mean I need to uninstall this windows and install the real Microsoft windows XP.Professional.Helop me pls

Purchase the actual software. That's the morally correct thing to do.

You can turn off automatic updates and the like, and use a system restore as others have suggested. However, you will be susceptible to any vunerabilities / exploits found since the last successful update you had.

You probably won't have to uninstall it. Just buy a genuine copy of Windows XP (hint: right-click "My Computer" and select properties in order to see what version you are currently running, i.e. Home or Professional) and do a repair install of Windows, making sure you use a legit product code. That way you won't have to reinstall all of your programs and erase your hard drive.

I know it happens sometimes, you buy what you believe is an authentic copy of windows and it turns out not to be! Call 1-800-RULEGIT. That's the number for Microsoft authetication of Windows copies.

Reset your computer to a period when this was not coming up, then turn off the automatic updates. The problem will be solved.
