We have our own comfort zones created to perfectly suit individual needs. If moved out, there is some sense of disturbance in physical and mental state; hence we fear change or things that are different. Its ultimately individual choice when it comes to "same sex relationships". And this is never a change for better. If we take a religious point of view, God never approved same sex relationships. Generations in the past were wiped out by God's wrath because of this, and if going against God's plan and will is going to bring a false sense of change then I totally am against it. Now I agree that we are all made in one likeness, and in one image of God, its definitely a change for better if one does no fear interracial relationships, shows how much broad minded the person is in life. Love is the single most important ingredient and emotion for any relationship to last over a period of time or in very rare cases till death. Yes, there should be no problem if 2 people love each other madly…but only in straight relationships. As one of my fellow Yahoo! user once stated "adam and eve not adam & steve". I am sure having a negative view about same sex relationships coz it never was, never is and never will be God's plan. As I have stated earlier, individual choice, and choice comes with a price...a consequence for which we are responsible individually. If you are for it, face the music!!

I believe the reason people are scared of change is because they are not accustomed or prepared for the uncertainties that associate with the change. I also believe that everyone isn't immune to the fears.
Also, another reason I believe people fear change is due to how much change is happening at once. If there's a lot of change experiencing at one moment and when a person has gone through a long period of stability, the person feels/becomes overwhelemed and the fear becomes more intense.

Most people get very stressed whenever they are outside of what is familiar to them. (Their Comfort zone), so they avoid things that make them stressed, and since change is involves something that has an unknown outcome, they fear it.
It is my thinking that fear is the greatest thing that keeps people from having what they want in life, be it love, real estate, a new job, whatever. Overcoming fear is difficult but VERY empowering.

You have a verrrrrrrrry good opinion, I think that society as a hole does not accept change well and I know that's sad but we cannot change the world at one time just day to day and know that there are people out there that are willing to accept change and that is a step "a small step" in the right direction

Some people are very set in their ways and are not acceptable to changes. They don't want anything to disturb their routine. They are who they are and no one can change them.
