Firefox is the way to go, but don't uninstall IE because some sites require it. Just be sure to keep it updated with security patches.

I have no complaints about Firefox except that it can be a bit of a memory hog. That is the one thing I want fixed more than anything else. A super cool thing about Firefox is extensions (like Adblock, Web Developer Tools, FasterFox, etc.), but be careful about installing them as they can be poorly written with memory leaks. I used to have about 12 extensions loaded and would often find myself with > 128Mb of RAM eaten up by firefox, even when I've closed all but one tabs.

I think Opera is the best. Firefox is fair. IE6 is horribly outdated. IE7Beta3 would be my 2nd choice after Opera.

Opera just does so much and has so many brilliant features. I cannot help but love it. It's security record is better than that of Firefox, also.

I just decided to try Firefox a few days ago, and I like it mainly because it's so customizable, and I've heard it's safer too.You can literally build on it to your liking. And it's faster too, I downloaded this firefox one thing that makes it even faster still, called Firetune. I don't think I'll go back to IE.

only because of the security issues. It is very prone to spyware and adware.

If it didn't have these issues, I'd use it. I use Firefox and like it a lot. If you use Firefox, you're cool and you won't have to worry about spyware, popups, etc.
