Well you have to put it into context, if I found £50 or £100 in a wallet, I'd hand it in to the police or any other relevant place where I found it because legally, you won't be guilty of theft if you find something and didn't believe the true owner could be found by taking reasonable steps, so if it were in a wallet, you cannot say the owner could not be found because a wallet is likely to contain other forms of identification such as bank cards or a driving licence.
If I simply found the money on its own in a street or something then I would be probably be minded to keep it!

hmm... we all try to be as honest as we can, but let's face it.. there's always something you really want or have been looking forward to buying either for you or someone else. So I would have to say that people would draw the line when it is a ridiculously huge amount of money. I think that I would draw the line at 1 million. No! just kidding. I would give it back if it were more than a thousand bucks cause I can definetly find use for $1,000 without any guilt.

If I found a purse or wallet, and it was obvious (say from the pension book) that the owner was needy, I would hand it in or return it, regardless of the amount inside.
Otherwise I would probably draw the line at £100

Up to £50 quid if you handed it in you would just get laughed at (this happened to me). So less than a twenty I would keep but anything from 20-100 I would put in a charity box or something. Once it gets more than that I would hand in.

If the money was in a bag or wallet or purse I would hand everything in. If it was just money on its own or in a carrier bag with no identification I would wait and see if it was reported. If it was then I would hand the money in, if it wasn't then I think I would probably keep it if I'm being honest.

I don't use pounds, I use dollars...and I'm not sure what the conversion scale is, but...if I found $50 or less, I would pocket it. Anything over 50, and I would report it.

If I found a large bag full of cash as much as I could carry (even dumped from a bank robbery) I would keep the lot,I would live with the guilt of being dishonest!

Saw a bloke drop a tenner once. Picked it up and gave it back to him. He gave me a fiver and thanked me for my honesty. Winners all round!
But if its unattended cash its got to be about the £50 mark. Any less than that handed into the police goes straight in the pot for their Christmas party!!!
