in a world with less gravity, you will actually be lighter because of muscle and bone atrophy, it will take less energy to hold you up and your body will respond by losing weight on your structural components (bone and muscle), so you children and their children will get smaller and smaller over time.

Not exactly! No matter how much weight you put on, you will never be able to walk properly.......... And the sort of evolution you are talking about will take very very long to happen. But before that i need to know one thing. How you gonna make out on the moon.....To be able to give birth??........ But one thing is sure, pregnancy will be a lot easier on the moon, the belly wont pull you down, right?I think i'm interested about your theory now......... Okay, lets take the first step, (Know what i mean?) and then wait for evolution..... What say??Got your spacesuit ready?

~Yes you would have to gain weight. Since lunar gravity is approximately 1/6 of terrestrial gravity, you would have to weigh six times as much. If you weigh 100 pounds, you will have to put on 500 pounds more. Luckily, lunar gravity will not act relatively on the new weight, so you should be able to waddle around nicely. The only problem is, you will have to put the weight on at a spacestation to keep the payload of the rocket leaving earth within managable limits. The kids better not evolve into giants or they will keep banging their heads on the ceilings of the lunar habitats.

People are already preparing to live on the moon here in the U.S. That's the real reason why Americans are over weight. We are ahead of everyone else.

No.

People who lived there would learn to walk in ways that take advantage of the lesser gravity. It would be more of gliding than the plodding we do here on earth.

you would adjust, no need to gain weight. Kids would probably grow much taller, due to lack of gravity
