Here's a question part2 thats never ask in da debate of da ozone problem don't ya think or can say da rocket fuel on those shuttles can be one of the problems with da ozone problem and how much is their budget is it higher or lower than da military's.

First the ozone issue: the contribution of shuttle rocket exhaust to the ozone depletion problem is practically zero, if any at all. Ozone depletion is caused by the release of chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) and other ozone-depleting substances (ODS), which were used widely as refrigerants, insulating foams, and solvents.

Second the budget issue: the entire NASA Space Program for 2006 is about $15.7 billion with the Space Shuttle taking up $4.3 billion. The US Military spending for 2006 is about 426 billion. This mean that the Space Shuttle is only 1% of our US Military budget. There is simply no comparison in terms of how much we are spending for engaging in warfare with other nations versus seeking knowledge and understanding of the world we live in.

Now to answer your question: the reason NASA keeps going into space is because there is something out there beyond the surface of the Earth, which we live on. Understanding what's out there will be crucial to our survival, as well as for increasing our knowledge about the Universe. What are they looking for? They are seeking answers. Answers to the questions such as who are we? Are we alone in the universe? what is the true nature of the universe? These are questions that Man has asked since he was able to turn his head upwards toward the sky and ponder upon his existence.

Regarding rocket fuel and ozone.

More ozone causing components leak in one minure from the old-style styrofoam hamburger containers (in landfills). Than the total fuel burned by NASA in a year. No rocket fuel does not contribute to the ozone problem

Radio waves are electromagnetic means, a similar as mild. The earth's environment absorbs and diffracts different frequencies (imagine shades) in countless techniques. area communications frequently works on VHF, UHF or Microwave frequencies. The small wavelength of those ability it really is available to make severe benefit antennas at real looking sizes - imagine of television aerials and Sat television dishes. those artwork with radio in an same thanks to a reflector telescope with mild, the curved floor focusing or concentrating a weak signal to a level or sending it out like a spotlight beam. The monster dish antenna used by using area floor stations boost the incoming signals by using really thousands of thousands of circumstances. the different vast vast difference between floor and area communications is that there is not some thing in the way - the Earth's environment thins out straight away over some miles upwards, then there is not some thing to take up the signal, it really is truly 'Line of Sight' it really is available to communicate with an section craft in low Earth orbit utilising walkie talkie kind radios - multiple the area Station astronauts have had novice (Ham) Radio licences, and performance sessions chatting with different Amateurs on the floor. i have executed it with only a hand held VHF radio. The satellite tv for pc television equipment works utilising satellites in severe 'synchronous' orbits, about 25,000 miles up. The transmitters are fairly low means (frequently 50W if I undergo in ideas excellent), yet ought to correctly be gained on the floor with only a small dish aerial. a similar frequency and means on earth may have a usable selection of very few miles, through air absorption, obstructions and the curvature of the Earth's floor. different ability are used which contain narrow-band signals that are a lot less demanding to get over history noise, plus thoughts like ahead mistakes Correction that allow an illustration to be decoded even even as the documents is corrupted or 'damaged'.

Apology for hurting any unknowingly....

NASA goes to space as :

1. As are being doing some secret services to Aliens, we have on earth.

2. Hiding the pre-learned knowledge from "friends aliens" and showing re-discovering or discovering.

3. Want to become first colonizers in space, as learnt one day humanity has to do it.

4. Showing fabricated videography, what they r doin there, but who knows what is actual going on there.

5. Its the same as not everybody travels to Switzerland only for site seeing......black money deposits are also there.

NASA keeps going into space because human curiosity demands it. Most of us, if not all, have a need to know what lies beyond our own planet. What good is our existence is we can't learn and grow in our knowledge of our surroundings. Our species has been around long enough to get to know the earth pretty intimately, so we keep pushing the boundaries in our search to answer bigger and broader questions.

They go because they can. That's how humanity has progressed in the past, but now it seems more likely that survival depends on restraint - which requires wisdom and other attributes (rather than cleverness) we're not distinguished for universally. And what they're looking for is mostly (a) answers to curiosity and (b) more money so they can go on doing it.

They are exploring space. If they did not explore space, we would not have some of the technology we have today. One comes to mind, is cell phones. Space travel helped put those satellites in space.

Your computer age car?
How about your cable box?
How about micro-surgical tecniques curing peaple every day?

Without the space program you would have NONE of these things!
