I think the odds would be astronmically high against getting married after living together for 7 years. I mean, I lived with my Mom for, like, 18 years and we never got married.

ive heard that after living with someone for 7 years and being together with them...then after 7 years the couple is considered to legally be married because thats the certain amount of years necessary. you might want to check this piece of information though.

my husband and i married after five years living together, but we were talking about marraige the whole time. if you haven't talked about it and you want to get married, you need to decide how important it is. if you bring it up, things could get ugly, or they could be perfect. it's a risk you have to decide you want to make.
