Ghanaian or Ghanian seems to be the conventional wisdom, but none of these work for me. The English is just wrong. I like Ghanalese or Ghanoids. Any thoughts?

Ghanaian just looks wrong. Give me another example of a word that has "aian" in it. It is not a sound in the English language.
The official language of Ghana is English so it must be from the English language.

Ghana is not an English word ,remember ? So like all other introductions into English,all derivatives are arbitary.I am Ghanaian and I am not complaining.

A person from Ghana is a Ghanaian.Why is the English wrong?Indeed that is no point as Ghana is not an English word therefore why would you want an example of a word that has "aian" in it?.The country of Ghana formerly the Gold Coast was named after the old Ghana empire.Just read this from Wikipedia.

So many other countries use the suffix "ian" to describe it's people. For example, Malaysia calls them Malaysians, Cameroun calls them Camerounians, Nigeria calls them Nigerians, Cambodia calls them Cambodians, and Egypt calls them Egyptians. Don't know exactly what you're after but they would like to be called Ghanians and I'm not in support of making fun of other people's identities.
