well, for pure comedy - maybe It's A Mad Mad Mad Mad World.. the original w/jonathan Winters, Milton Berle, Buddy Hackett etc
comedy with some intelligence and emotion but still quite funny - maybe Modern Times, the old charlie Chaplin movie - if you haven't seen it - definitiely check it uot and see how much can be accomplished with so few words..
