It itches because the sun or a tanning salon is very drying and irritating to your skin. Slather on alot of good moistureizer and it will stop itching.

Use Aloe Vera spray. It helps get rid of the itch and burn after tanning, and it helps preserve your tan longer.

Your skin might be dry, a little bit burned, or irritated. If it's just at a certain tanning place, ask them about it. If not, spray on some aloe (they have it at drugstores) and apply some lotion.

You skin is dried out. The best I found is baby oil...be careful using it in the shower u will slip!!

Its reverting to its healthier state..its healing..a tan is burning your skin..no other way round it..its cooking.

I think also it is because your pores are opening up to release your sweat, which contains toxins. And your sweat glands became more succeptable to outside allergies. pollutants, etc

Not enough Lotion, just keep slabbing it on and it will get better.
