It shouldn't be sore 7 months later unless somethings irritating them. Your safe to take them out just not for more then 24hrs because then you risk the chance of them closing. Try earrings made out of a different metal then the one's you have, allergies to certain metals are common. I alway tell people to use bactine on their piecings since it has a bit of a numbing effect, that willl help soreness. The other thing which is big is just to leave your ears alone, make sure every single time you touch your ears you wash your hands!

It is supposed to be healed in 6 weeks or less and should not hurt in any way more than 24 hours after the piercing, a little tender for a couple of weeks, maybe, but that's it. Are your loops in 14K? If not, buy gold; Your body is reacting to the metal and not healing could be a form of rejection. Then, clean again like after the piercing, until it is completely healed.
Hoops are good because you can easily clean front and back, but choose something small and not heavy to begin with.

I get that from my third hole on my left ear sometimes and the piercing is 11 years old. Do you sleep on that side and sleep with it in? That was the problem for me. Loop, stud, made no difference. If that's not the case, you may have an infection regardless of using antiseptics.
I'd take it out. Worse case scenario, it closes back up. Then get it repierced after it clears up, but with a stud next time. They seem to heal better than loop starters. Hope it helps you out.

You may be allergic to the type of earring that you are wearing. It is safe to take it out, just don't leave them out for more than a day. The whole does start to grow back together and man can you feel it when you put it back in!

I had the same problem with my daughters ear. I kept using the earring solution, and it finally healed. Replace your earrings and make sure they are clean. You can clean them with alcohol. Good luck:)

if you have sensitive ears, it is very normal. i think it is safe to take it out, probably a good idea in fact.....
keep it clean (try using the ear cleaning stuff you can buy at claires)
once it feels better, try putting your earings back in
hope this helps
