I used to be and there's lots of things I still shrug off. I find it's better to pick the important things to complain about. But if someone is really treating me badly for no apparent reason, I would certainly talk to that person in private and find out what's going on and why.

Sometimes. Look around you. You may know at least one person in your personal life, or at work or school that is constantly complaining about something. Isn't that annoying? After a while you just don't want to hear any more of it. My advice to you is to pick your battles. Only raise a stink about the issues that are really a problem. However if your concern is about a safety issue that could really do someone some harm, then fuss away.

Yes, it's hard, but do it-your self-esteem will thank you in the long run. Stand up for what your gut tells you!

Yes, I hate to make a fuss. I'm actually trying to give a doctor one more chance to make a bad situation better before I sue him into oblivion!

If it is something serious , like a car dealer jacking you around for a week while they guess what is wrong with your car-I have no problem letting them know. If it is something of no importance- I don't see any point to complain . Life's too short , and nobody is perfect .

Not anymore. I refuse to be somebody's door mat. I send food back if it's not prepared properly and complain if a hotel room is not clean. If you don't speak up, they won't know what's wrong. And I don't tip if I got bad or rude service.
