Don't compromise your visionary pursuits. So many people want to bring you down to their level, for example, talking about nothing but gossip, or not discussing anything at all - just watching TV passively. You will find people with whom you can share your knowledge and discoveries. Forums help you meet people with similar interests. But, it would be best to meet and interact with real people you can hang around with, though, wouldn't it? I had that problem in my twenties - i got the reputation in a small town as the town eccentric - they whispered behind my back about the strange materials I checked out of the library! I moved to the city, where I live to this day. Still it's quite a hunt to seek out people with similar interests. But, eventually, you do.

It sounds like you talk about these things with people who have no interest, and then complain that "nobody" can identify. You have to admit, from a regular schmuck's point of view, Philosophy and visionary conversion is... well, pretty weird. Try to adapt by showing an interest in their intrests. Start watching Southpark and American idol, for example, so you can relate to ordinary people on occasion. And I'm not saying you should abandon your interests in philosophy and visionary conversion (whatever the ^$*# that is), Just save that kind of discussion for people who are actually interested.

Your use of the word 'nobody' here concerns me---for one so visionary in their thinking do you not know that there are others ??
And as a visionary---what concern is it that no one can identify--is that a qualifier you are searching for or is it validation ??
You are who you are and you have the choice to either be that or change it----the choice is your's
And if it validation and sharing that you seek---it will come--because when the guru is needed---he appears----
Seek not among the mentally challenged for the enlightenment of ages for you will wander in darkness long enough for your eyesight to be decieved into the bellief that you are living in the light--and you will believe this--accept it and become as others

Philosophy but anyway. Not everyone is a thinker, most are doers or idlers. Most people would rather watch the idiot box than have a conversation or use their old friend 'imagination'. Perhaps you are more conversation than reflection which is why you find it difficult to relate.

You possess the flexibilty to conceive and extrapolate CHANGE onto the Matrix of "existence". Not only are MOST people actually terribly AFRAID of that, but they're just too busy with their lives to consider it. IF we could extrapolate all Starbucks visits into meditation time worldwide, we could have stopped several wars and fed several countries -- but who really wants that?
Hmmm...
Rock on with your unusuality -- it just might save this lovely orb called Earth and its inhabitants some day...

It's great that you want to explore philosophical etc realms. But maybe it's not what your friends are into. I would suggest two things:
1. find out what you CAN do to have fun with your friends, and
2. find some friends who want to talk about what you want to talk about. Maybe through the net, maybe meet someone at the library, maybe take a class and make a friend.

Not "nobody"...you have a very high area of interest, demanding a strong intellect, intuitiveness, and sophistication. Be happy that you have interests that weed out most of the uninteresting ones. It just means you will have to be more patient.

Theoretically you should reflect on philosophy and a vision will pop up in your head that you can have a conversation with your inner self… Theoretically speaking.

I guess you don't know the right people. Go to some book clubs or join some forums that enjoy the same interests as you.

Philosophy is popular because there is really no right or wrong. Mostly opinion. You know how people hate being wrong.
