It shouldn't be, it would be like a teenager in the 60s listening to rudy vallee or other music from the 1920s. But since imagination has been on hold the last 40 years and everyone's just been regurgitating hippie music, it is normal.

when i was a teenager ,the rolling stones and the Beatles were our most popular pop idols
they were also teenagers at that time,but their music has not changed all that much
so for a teenager today to appreciate them .would make him normal by our standards

I went to California a few months ago. I was amazed at how many of the young kids listened to music from the early 70's.

my friend and i have come to the conclusion that you only asked this because you want to pick up chicks.
who cares? really? music is music it's about what you like not what others think. derrrrr.
