Make sure you're using a sharp razor. And it's probably time to change the shaving gel you use...that makes a difference. I usually rub cocoa butter under my arms when I'm going to sleep...that keeps my skin smooth.

I have to shave my armpits every day. Don't ask why but it always don't look clean shaven to me. If right after shaving you still have hair or stubble or whatever you may not be using the right products. Try a new razor (I use the vibrating Venus one and it works great...but you can always get disposable) and use Skintamit (I know I spelled that wrong...haha! But this stuff works GREAT and smells really good) shave gel.

wax it off....
when u wax the hair takes longer to grow back and it grows back softer and thinner.
if u can't wax use a hair remover gel/cream. try nair or veet it's not as effective as the wax but atleast if u have to use it often it wont irritate ur skin as shaving does

DON'T WAX 'EM!! Good Gawd, that is torture!! I had the same problem but found a painless answer - it's the new Neet Razura - it is a dilepitory (like Nair) but has a plastic razor-like contraption that makes it get super close!
I promise you won't be disappointed!

You can try waxing. If you're really serious about it, you can get your hair permanently removed by laser or electrolysis. Laser sometimes grows back, but electrolysis is permanent (though time consuming). All of these can be painful and expensive though, so you really have to want to do it.

You are supposed to shave your underarms in all directions. Top to bottom , side to side, and diagonally. Trust me, i am very grateful for the person who told me that.

it could be your razor isn't sharp enough. also, the type of hair. women with dark thick hair usually have a little bit of hair visible even after shaving.

I know what you mean. Not matter what expensive razor you use, their is little black pores that look like you are gross. I hate it. I would try waxing, or using a deodarnt like dove to make them softer.
