Cut out sugar, white bread ,artificial coloring and flavor ingredients in foods. And let the person have and outlet for all the energy. I think you can do both natural remedies and meds. Consult a Doctor.

discipline yes helps with behavior problems but you also got to remember that it is not that the person thinks to little actually the child thinks too much mind goes a million miles a minute there are a variety of things you can do one let the child take things in small does and let them do a variety of things if that is not possible chamomile is good too this works as a mild relaxant this might work. Another thing you can try on that is to drink a little of skullcap tea this always helps me. If this doesn't help you can go the way naturally the meds do overstimulate the body with caffeine sometimes it has the opposite effect. I am not an expert just a person with it.

Usually, a child who has ADHD cannot keep their attention span. Find things which are interesting and challenging for them to do. There is a theory that an ADHD child is a very smart child. The reason that the child loss his/ her attention is that the task at hand is too simple, boring or unchallenging for him/ her. For example, I have a student in P2. When I taught him P2 level stuff, he 'switches off' and walk around in class. However, if there is a good book/ article (how tsunami is formed etc), he'll immerse himself in it. So give your child challenging tasks and assignments.

See "The ADD Book", give ideas for diet, biofeedback, etc. There is also a site that sells natural tonics, I think it's called Native Remedies?

I have 2 friends here in Washington that were at wits end. Each helped their son by sleeping better on a sleep system and giving them lacctoferrin. The sleep system helped them sleep better at night and got rid of their night terrors and the lacctoferrin helped block toxins and gain more nutrient from the food they ate.

Magnesium helps.
Sometimes ADHD comes from a lack of magnesium.

something like chamomile. It's a herb....but i would go to a "herbal store" first and ask them...Plus ask them if they can recommend what doctor that practiced in natural healing?...Dr Weil is a good one...He has books on stuff...You may want to look into it!
