When the love of my life and I were limited to online contact he did amazing things to express his love to me. Here is what got me feeling so loved and I couldn't stop smiling....
Constant love letters and cards, his love letters he constantly sent were always about our future together..expressing what it will be like when we get to be together and it really gave me so much hope and somthing awesome to look forward to. Also, if he caught on that I needed something, anything, he'd send it to me, money, perfume, clothes, he didn't have a lot of money but he tried to shower me. That was 5 years ago, we've been married 4 years now and it's awesoem!!

Sense you are limited to your contact as being over the internet, then I would set a time, like sunrise and watch it "together"- you where you are and her where she is, then send her an e-mail or IM her and talk to her about how beautiful the sunrise was, like you really watched it with her....do that kinda stuff all day long as if you really spent the day together. Like have breakfast at the same time and then talk about it- use your imagination. Be creative on this, or send her e-cards stating what time to be doing something private or public. And you can end the day with watching the sunset together as you watched the sunrise. Or pick certain constilations to look at during the dark hours, knowing that you are watching the same sky is romantic. That's what I meant by the sunrise and sunset. send her a pretty dress to wear that day, or what ever types of outfits she likes...
Send little e-mails telling her how beautiful and special she is every half of an hour .... be punctual so she knows how important she is to you....

Be yourself. If she is content to having an on-line romance with you, she is apparently not to hard to please. Tell her you have asked people all over the world to give you ideas on what would put a smile on her face. I'm sure she will smile over that one! Anyway, if you use someone else's idea, it won't really be something you thought of and will be meaningless to her as it didn't come from your heart. It would be like saying, Hey, honey look at this beautiful ring I got you, when in all actuality, you had your sister pick it out, purchase it and wrap it up. Silly! If she ever finds out that you had nothing to do with it, the ring will have lost it's value. Like I said, just be yourself and then you won't have to constantly worry about whether she likes you for being you or the likes the person who gave you your ideas.

For me its the thought that goes into the gesture. I'd prefer a hand written note expressing his feelings over a Hallmark card with only his signature at the end of it. A picnic in the evening (a nice park or beach), a fine bottle of wine, some edibles, dessert; us laying back and enjoying the scenery without the need to talk or force some type of conversation. For me the most unforgettable romance is simple and pure. You can give the expensive stuff to the high maintenance chick...give me "the moment"

hi I would like simple things, things that can be remembered. not so much material things. How about a long drive in the country stopping to pick flowers., and holding her hand, pack a picnic lunch or wine and cheese. Time is very important. I would rather have my husband time and attention then anything money could buy. Also how about candles, her favorite music, lotions and a great full body massage she will be so intoxicated by you touch and thoughtful she won't know what hit her. good luck.Or how about a scrapbook of your favorite times together. journaling along the way. how you felt on those pictures.

Well if you are limited to online contact i dont know that theres a whole lot you can do. If you can send her stuff in the regular mail maybe you could send her a huge teddy bear that she can sleep with and hug when she misses you. I think that would be nice. You could send her flowers or make her a card with a poem. Its usually the little things that really count. Make her a cd with songs that remind you of her.

Wow....she is one lucky dudette! I'm sure she smiles every time she gets to chat with you and really doesn't need any more than spending time with you to be happy. But I have read all the other answers and there were some great ideas. The web cam is good as well as the poem or just a letter that tells her how special she is. Good Luck dude....make her melt!

First let me say that is really sweet!!
Since your only communication at the moment is by computer, if you have her address or can get it on the sly...send her some flowers and a bear/stuffed animal...or even better if you can get the address of her work, send them there. That way everyone around sees how special she is to someone. That will really make her feel special trust me, also...put you heart into and write a poem, e-mail it to her the same day she receives the flowers and stuffed animal. Good luck!!

I wish I were her.....I think the "thing" right now for you to do would be surprising her (you said you only have online contact)....I remember the day i met my PenPal.......Every letter put a smile on my face but that day when I finally met him I haven't stopped smiling and the warm fuzzies are still there every day...(3 yrs. now and counting)
If that is not at all possible
I would suggest sending her, her favorite flower at work of course....send one in the morning and one in the afternoon....Even Sending lunch in for a few of her co-workers (for 5) and a romantic love letter of what you would do if you were there.....
Good Luck to the both of you!!!!!

Well I would like to have my boyfriend come over in the early morning so we could watch the sunrise. Then after that we would go to the park and take a walk. If my boyfriend knew my most favorite place in the world then he would propose to me. But my fantasy isn't going to happen for a longggggggggg time since I'm only 12! But since you can't see her.........then send her something nice like 12 red roses(if possible to her work). write a letter to her saying how much you miss her and that you love her very much! I bet she would like some poetry to! Tell her as soon as you see her your going to give her a nice big hug and kiss!(lol)
Well best of luck!!!!!!
