I've been online for more than an hour, every search site i use wants ten bucks or more for background /basic info that i dont need , all i want to do is find an old friends email, any one have exp with this inet crap

Here's a great website that will at least give you a little more to work with than most others if you want to try to find them yourselves without paying for it. I was looking for an old friend and got a workable phone number. Of course, they offer to give you the whole smash for some $, but again, once you get a phone #, you're off to the races.

Have you tried going to classmates.com or reunion.com? It might be easier if you know the school they went to. Then you can at least see if they have an email or a computer. Hope this helps a little or at least sends you down the right path!
